Pre-Wedding Portrait Shoot

Enjoy a pre-wedding portrait shoot before your wedding day

A pre-wedding portrait photography session is fast becoming an important must-have for modern couples, looking to make the entire wedding process a memorable and distinctly individual experience. After all, why should it be your wedding day that only gets documented?

My pre-wedding portrait package is a fantastic way to not only get some fun, lovely and informal portraits of you both together, ahead of the wedding date, but it’s also a great way to get used to me as a photographer around you.  That means come your wedding day we’ll all know each other much better and you won’t feel like your wedding photographer is a stranger on the big day itself.

So what does the pre-wedding portrait session entail?

It’s usually an hour long photography shoot in a scenic, picturesque or meaningful location. I usually recommend one of the wonderful royal parks in London or around a number of the many iconic landmarks London has to offer. Of course, I am more than happy to undertake a pre-wedding session away from London, but would just ask that reasonable travel expenses are included for any travel outside of Greater London.  This then allows you to choose a location that is more personally special to you as a couple. I have shot pre-wedding sessions in forests, the ground of Stately Homes and, yes, even down on a farm!

On the day itself we’ll spend time getting to know each other, which generally involves having a few laughs, and of course capturing some beautiful portraits of you both.  Whilst I normally say you can expect 10-15 images as a minimum, the reality is you will get more than that.  These will be sent to you on a USB within a week or so of the shoot.  I also usually do the pre-wedding shoots on a Sunday as this is more convenient for most couples and doesn’t clash with other photography commitments I may have.

You can see some examples of pre-wedding shoots here.

So how do I book a pre-wedding portrait session?

We will usually discuss at the time of your wedding booking whether you wish to include a pre-wedding session. For the current price of my Pre-Wedding Portrait Shoot, please get in touch here.

Please note that pre-wedding shoots are only available to those couples who have booked me for their wedding photography.

So if you are getting married and would love to include a pre-wedding portrait session with your wedding photography, please do give me a call on 07920 422144 or send me a message via my contact page. We can then have a friendly, informal chat about your wedding plans without any obligation (or pressure!) to book – after all I prefer my photography and personality to be the reason you do decide to book me, rather than some kind of hard selling technique!

I look forward to hearing from you!
