The Wedding Photojournalist Collection

Old Ship Inn Brighton wedding photography of the mother-of-the-bride making a final adjustment to the bride's wedding dressing, during the bridal preparations

The Wedding Photojournalist Collection is for those couples who want all the benefits of a natural, candid and photojournalistic approach to capturing the real moments and genuine emotions of their wedding story, whilst also getting a number of more traditional and posed portraits of themselves.

Wedding reportage captures the moment the bride adjusts her tiara, during the bridal preparations at the Premier Inn hotel in Crawley, Sussex.

The Wedding Photojournalist collection covers the important parts of the wedding day.  So that means I capture all the fun, laughter and tears from the bridal preparations in the morning right through to a little after the first dance at the wedding reception in the evening.

You can be sure I’ll capture all those important, must have moments such as the bride getting into her beautiful wedding dress, the arrivals at the wedding venue, the entire wedding ceremony including the exchange of rings and the first kiss, the toasts and speeches, the cutting of the wedding cake, the first dance and a little of the evening’s entertainment. In-between all this, as you would expect of a wedding photojournalism approach, I capture the fleeting expressions, tiny happenings and all those gone in the blink of an eye moment. After all, that’s what wedding photojournalism is all about.

But what makes my Wedding Photojournalist collection different, is that I will also happily capture some posed and traditional portraits of the happy couple themselves. This really appeals to couples who want a largely wedding photojournalistic approach with a smaller number of portraits.  If you did want a more group shots on the day, then this is where my Wedding Storyteller Collection would be better suited.

With the Wedding Photojournalist collection you can expect to receive a minimum of 500 high resolution edited images, within 14 days of your wedding day. Generally you will receive an equal mix of colour and black & white images (I generally know in my head at the time I am taking the photo as to whether it will be a final colour or b&w image) but if you would prefer a different ratio of colour to b&w photos then simply just let me know.  You also get a FREE smart phone wedding album app – which is perfect for sharing online and via social media with your friends and family.

Of course, I also add some extra optional add-ons you can also include to make the Wedding Photojournalist Collection a more personal wedding photography pack for your needs. These add ons include a pre-wedding portrait shoot, a second photographer on the day or a number of different sized wedding storybooks. You can find out more about these and the current price of the Wedding Photojournalist Collection on the Collections & Prices page.

So if you are getting married and looking for a wedding photographer who provide you with all the benefits of a wedding photojournalism approach to your special day, with a small number of more formal portraits then the Wedding Photojournalist Collection is definitely the one to be considering.
